![]() 1: What is this place? Welcome to the city of Fallenpoint 2. Wait, how did I get here? Where is this place? The city pulled you in, either by inviting you in, or by dragging you in. 3. Can I leave? Yes, and No 4. Wait, I’m confused. Whenever a character arrives to the city of Fallenpoint, they bring along with them their own reality. Characters may explore any reality that they choose. 5. Cool! So my character can go home whenever they want! Not so fast. When a character goes to explore their reality they’ll start to notice that there’s something severely wrong with the place. 6. Such as? Certain events may have never occurred, or went a different way. People will have changed dramatically, etc. 7. Does my character have a place to live? Yes! Upon arrival, your character will find that they have a bag. Contained within this bag is a netbook (for surfing the internet, e-mail, and Iming) a PDA, a credit card with the equivalent of $10,000, and the key to their new apartment suite, and vehicle. 8. What sort of vehicle? The city has given each ‘foreigner’ their own vehicle, specifically one that they would be used to. 9. Does this include flying vehicles? Yes and no. Huge ass space ships (the Death Star for example) will not be allowed; but smaller in flight vehicles (such as vehicle from Watchmen) will be allowed in the city. 10. What happens when my character runs out of money? They can get a job, and here in Fallenpoint finding a job is pretty damn easy. 11. Cool! So my character can get any job they want, huh? Yes and no; try to keep it within character. For example, Rorschach probably isn’t going to get a job in the entertainment industry, or in retail, you get the point. 12. What if my character had an unorthodox job in their world? That will be allowed here. 13. My character has some abilities will they be allowed to keep them? Yes! But, keep in mind that some abilities will be lessened. If your character could annihilate entire cities with a thought, or make thousands of people ill at a whim; well, that’s been lessened dramatically. 15. So, my character can’t destroy anything, or hurt anyone? No, they still can. 16. Awesome! My character is going to destroy bla bla bla! Not so fast! If you want to hurt another character you MUST get their permission. If you’re wanting to destroy something (like an occupied building, or important landmark) in the city you will need the mods permission. 17. So, what’s this deal about visiting other realities? How do we do that? Characters will soon find out about the Hallway of Realities. The Hallway of Realities is a long corridor consisting of door after door after door. Each door leads to a different reality, and more doors are added the more realities are added. 18. Once my character enters a reality, how do they get out? Via there PDA Device. On the device is a button that will transport your character back to the city of Fallen Point. 19. So, what's up with the natives of this place? Characters may find that the natives of Fallen Point are a little off. They haven't left the city in a decade, and see no reason to do so. Characters may also find that they can do some very strange things, and the natives won't even bat an eyelash. Why this is, has not been revealed yet. 20. Can I play a character from a concept album? Yes you can. 21. Can I play a real celeb/person? No, no you may not. 22. I have this awesome idea for a plot! How do I go about setting it up? If the plot is small; would only effect four characters at the most; and is set in another reality, all you need to do is talk to the players involved. If the plot is larger; effects the entire game; and/or happens in the city, then you'll need to run it by the mod. Chances are, the mod will let you run it. 23. Is this game played in real time? Yes it is. One day in RL = One day in the game. |
